PrimeFab Opens Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Midland, Expanding Ontario’s Prefabrication Capacity

Midland, ON — [Wednesday, March 18, 2026] — PrimeFab, a division of the Triumph Group of Companies, will officially open its new advanced manufacturing facility in Midland on May 1, marking a significant expansion of prefabricated building envelope production in Ontario.

The purpose-built facility strengthens Triumph’s vertically integrated platform and positions PrimeFab to support large-scale residential and ICI projects with high-performance panelized wall systems and prefabricated building envelope solutions. By shifting key construction processes into a controlled manufacturing environment, PrimeFab enables faster build timelines, improved quality control, and reduced onsite risk.

Located on 36 acres and encompassing 100,000 square feet, the Midland facility represents an ongoing investment of approximately $20 million in plant and equipment, marking a significant commitment to advanced manufacturing within Simcoe County. This investment reinforces Ontario’s growing role in modern prefabrication and industrialized construction.

“PrimeFab was built to help modernize how buildings are delivered,” said Mario Ribeiro, Founder and CEO of PrimeFab. “By combining automation, precision manufacturing, and deep building envelope expertise, we’re providing developers and builders with a smarter, more predictable path to completion.”

Backed by more than 38 years of experience through the Triumph Group of Companies, PrimeFab integrates design collaboration, manufacturing, logistics, and installation into a streamlined delivery model. The facility is equipped with advanced semi-automated production systems designed for high-volume, precision-driven builds while maintaining the flexibility required for complex architectural projects.

The official Grand Opening on May 1 will welcome industry partners, community leaders, and government representatives for guided tours of the facility and remarks from PrimeFab leadership.
